Selective Coloring

This is a picture that I shifted the colors on to make the football player stand out more. This is a very popular way to edit pictures right now, and it is easy to see why. With everything else in black and white, with that one splash of color, it really makes this picture more interesting to look at.

Blending Images

In this picture, I used Photoshop to blend two images together. I got the eagle from a different picture, cut it out, and added it on top of the flag. I then changed the opacity of the eagle to make it interesting to look at, and allow the entire flag to be seen in the image.

Adding Pop to a Photo!

This is a great photoshop effect that works really well to make a picture stand out and look really cool. I added the white border around the dog, slightly slanted. Then I blurred out the area surrounding the dog, making the dog really stand out and look interesting.

This is my favorite picture effect. The border around the dog looks almost like a seperate picture within a picture. And the grass around the dog would not really be interesting to look at, but because of the effect the picture stands out better. It even helps with the centering problem, the dog is not centered very well in the actual picture, but because the effect makes the focus of the picture shift, it helps the overall quality of the picture.
